Animal Lifeline’s dedication to “Evolved Rescue” requires us
to look at the needs of our own community first. There are countless animal rescue/advocacy groups, some who don't really agree with others. We're happy to act as a liasion, pooling and providing resources from the private rescues,
tri-state area municipal shelters, law enforcement, fire companies, and the
general public.
We're making a difference; working together as a cohesive group to help manage and prevent the issues with animal over-population, irresponsible breeding and (whenever possible) helping animals keep the home's they've already got, by arming the owners with new training tactics.
Please help us…
- Support rescues with by donating food, litter,
vetting assistance, adoptive family referral
- Ongoing education opportunities,
etc
- Provide referrals from local veterinarians to rescues of
adopting families
- Encourage rescues to actively pull animals from needy
shelters within our state as well as their out of state activity
- Provide assistance from qualified trainers to assess animals
for local rescues coming out of large urban shelters and transport
- Help raise awareness within the local private community
about law enforcements' critical role in their rescues
- Help law enforcement spot
hazardous local animal situations
- Help law enforcement procure the items they need
- Work with our local urban areas to implement new innovative
spay/neuter programs
- Provide the public with a
hotline to ask questions about pet adoption
- Provide volunteer opportunities and schedules for all levels
of interest
