FAIRMOUNT
PARK RESCUE UPDATE
After
reading the last newsletter, many of you were
concerned about the dogs that were rescued from
Philadelphia's Fairmount
Park.
Fantastic news! The adult dogs were taken in
at a sanctuary, and we've received an update from
animal advocate, Janice Strawder:
"The
Sanctuary is everything we hoped for and is an
absolutely wonderful place. They will get
medical care, and much attention from volunteers
who will take them for walks among trails in the
beautiful rolling hillside! They will stay
in a kennel large enough for the two of
them."
Many
thanks to those who have donated to help this
canine family! With your help, we were able
to donate $400 to the Steinbach
Veterinary Hospital to offset the cost of the
animals' care.

interested in fostering or adopting one of the
remaining puppies!
