NECESSITIES!
Times really are tough, and our local
rescues and shelters
are dealing with overwhelming
numbers of animals right now.
If you think of it while out holiday
shopping
and can pick up some wet
or dry dog food or cat food,
or some kitty litter,
just drop it off at the
Thrift Shop we'll be sure to get it to animals in
need!
Thank
you for continuing to provide much-needed
supplies!
|
Helping
Hands!
We'd
like to thank our friends at Wet
Nose Rescue
in Feasterville who are working with students
from Philadelphia's Orleans Technical
Institute to build dog houses. In
January, over a dozen members of
the Animal Lifeline Club at Delaware Valley
College will take these much-needed shelters on a
trip to the Mary Ann Morris Animal Society in
Bamberg, SC where they will they will assess
needs, educate, and roll up their sleeves to work
hard and give respite to real frontline rescue
heroes.
In
a few weeks, we'll let you know more about the
important work being done in shelters like MAMAS,
and how it relates to efforts we make through
Animal Lifeline, so please stay tuned for
wishlists and information on how you can help make
this trip a big
success! |
