Due to ridiculous amounts of snow preventing pretty much anything getting done this week,
we have decided to
EXTEND THE DEADLINE
FOR SUBMITTING ADVERTISING FOR
"CANINES ON THE CATWALK"!...

Please reserve advertising space by
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19.
Contact Betsy to save a spot
in the program booklet
or to let her know you'll be sponsoring a model or a table
so your name is on the list
in the program.

Then be sure to
submit
artwork, content and payment by

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26.

Remember, there are all kinds of advertising options, starting as low as $15 for a line ad!

But if you can spare $150 to sponsor a table, your business name will appear on the table, and a list of table sponsors will appear in the program booklet and be prominently displayed at the event.  And with that $150, Animal Lifeline can:
  • take a dog out of a high-kill shelter in Appalachia and transport it to a safe rescue, give it medical attention and spay/neuter the dog so it will be ready for adoption into a happy home!
  • provide supplies for volunteers to build 20 insulated feral cat houses.
  • buy Parvo/Distemper shots for 25 dogs.
  • spay/neuter and administer rabies shots to three feral cats; in seven years, one female cat and her young can produce 420,000 kittens, so that $150 is a sound investment in prevention!

And don't forget, to make it REALLY easy to participate, you can just send your business card and a $25.00 check made out to ANIMAL LIFELINE
to:

Animal Lifeline
1111 Easton Road, Suite 24
Warrington, PA 18976

Write"CANINES ON THE CATWALK AD" in the memo line of your check and we'll get your advertising into the program booklet!

WE NEED
YOUR ADVERTISING DOLLARS
TO MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!

So scroll down to the bottom of our Events Page
to find links to more in-depth information
in our Word or PDF advertising brochures.

And as you reserve your ad space,
know that "Canines on the Catwalk"
will provide advertising exposure
to about 400 attendees and volunteers!

Thank you!

Doggie Myth Busters: The Truth about Common Dog Myths

Myths regarding dogs, their behavior and their training have been told for centuries. We have all heard these phrases before...but are they true?:

  • Tugging makes dogs aggressive.
  • If my dog goes out the door first, he is dominant.
  • Bones are dangerous for dogs to chew.
  • To show a dog that you are in charge, pin them until they "submit".
  • Don't let your dog sleep on your bed or couch.
  • If you train dogs with food they won't respect you.
  • Dogs that bite will always bite.
  • All dogs can be behaviorally rehabilitated.
  • Purebred dogs cannot be found in shelters.
  • A dog wagging its tail is a happy, friendly dog.
  • An old dog can't learn new tricks.

During this workshop, we will present the facts behind some of the most common myths about our canine friends!
